Common Use
Lodine is used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as acute pain. It helps reduce inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain. The medication improves mobility and daily functioning in patients with inflammatory conditions.

Dosage and Direction
The dosage depends on the condition being treated and patient response. For arthritis, adults typically take 300–500 mg two to three times daily or an extended-release formulation once daily. Take Lodine with food or milk to reduce stomach irritation. Follow your doctor’s instructions and do not exceed the recommended dose.

Precautions

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Overdose
Overdose may cause severe stomach pain, vomiting, drowsiness, or gastrointestinal bleeding. Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected. Treatment is supportive and may include gastric protection and monitoring.

Storage
Store Lodine at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.
