Common use
Combigan eye drops are used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It combines Brimonidine, an alpha-agonist, and Timolol, a beta-blocker, to reduce fluid production and enhance fluid drainage in the eye.
Dosage and direction
Instill one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart. Use the drops exactly as prescribed, and avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
Precautions
Inform your doctor if you have heart conditions, asthma, diabetes, or circulation problems. Combigan may cause drowsiness or blurred vision, so caution is advised during activities that require alertness.
Contraindications
Do not use Combigan if you have asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), slow heart rate, or heart block. Avoid use if allergic to Brimonidine, Timolol, or other beta-blockers.

Drug interaction

Missed dose
If a dose is missed, apply it as soon as you remember. If it’s close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed one—do not double the dose.
Overdose
Overdose may cause low blood pressure, dizziness, or respiratory issues, especially in children. Seek emergency medical help if an overdose is suspected.
Storage
Store Combigan drops at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
