Common Use
Chlorthalidone is used to treat high blood pressure and fluid retention (edema) caused by heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disorders. It works as a diuretic, helping the body eliminate excess salt and water through urine.
Dosage and Direction
Take Chlorthalidone exactly as prescribed, usually once daily in the morning. It can be taken with or without food, but should be taken at the same time each day.
Precautions

Contraindications
